Baby Chick here with a recipe that is not only YUMMY but super easy to throw together when you’re in a pinch. These S’More bars would be great for a teacher’s Valentine’s Day gift, any party you’re going to, or for the favorite person in your life. Wow! Weren’t the holidays just awesome? Momma Chick and I got together and baked and baked, and ate and ate, until our tummy’s hurt. We probably ate as many cookies as Santa does on his rounds around the world. #WorthIt.

Anyway, New Year’s Eve is upon us and making deserts to share with family and friends is on our list of to-dos. There are so many different things happening on this day (some of us even have to work) that having recipes that are quick and easy to create are super important. Which brings us to this week’s recipe:

Last Minute Cookies for Santa–Nutter Butter Dippers

The most important thing about making these cutie pie cookies is having the right ingredients.  They’re so easy, that Baby Chick and I did them with the grandkids.  Here’s what you need:

Traditional Snickerdoodles – The Perfect Go-To Christmas Cookie!

Snickerdoodle Cookies

• 1/2 c. soft shortening
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 2 tbsp. sugar

• 1 cup butter
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup molasses
• 4 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cloves
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tsp ginger
• 4 1/2 to 5 cups flour
